PEG Africa hiring Credit & Customer Value Manager.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to minimize credit risk, including redefining sales processes to ensure a repayment focus whilst not hindering growth
  • Credit risk analytical & policy management
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders (sales, logistics, customer experience  etc.)
  • Drive Company Credit performance through KPIs and supporting metrics, and develop adequate portfolio risk reports
  • Customer Value Management and in-life customer cycle management
  • Manage field & office based repayment force : drive teams efficiency and productivity
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Economics, banking & finance or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years at a senior management level in credit (preferably microfinance, asset financing or related sector )
  • Experience in managing field and office based teams
  • Experience in a fast growing, dynamic work environment
  • Sophisticated analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to analyzing complex problems
  • Experience with credit scoring, customer and risk segmentation is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be innovative and comfortable to challenge the status quo
  • Fluency in French and English
