Purpose

Course coordination, facilitation and delivery

Training coordinator and facilitator’s role is to plan, lead and provide facilitated training courses in classroom or virtual session to internal and external customers, to arranges suitable training solutions for all user levels to maximize customer performance using Amadeus products.

The position is accountable to deliver Amadeus product training across multiple Regions and customer segments including Retail, Corporate, Business Travel and Online.

The position is also responsible for coordinating, planning and managing Central & Western Africa training activities among the local trainers.

Key accountabilities

Customers First

  • Responsible for Central & Western Africa customer’s training needs analysis, and to determine the best learning solution in agreement with our global learning strategy.
  • Coordinate with Central & Western Africa commercial teams to organize customers trainings.
  • Provide high quality training to internal and external customers according to course content, audience and business needs.
  • Ensure training materials and exercises are well prepared and updated for each course delivery.
    Act as an Amadeus ambassador in every interaction with colleagues and customers.

Planning and coordination

  • Manage Central & Western Africa training schedules according to resource availability and trainer’s competencies, based on CLS Training catalogue and customer training needs
  • Coordinate and schedule all training courses for Central & Western Africa with the local trainers or partners.
    Create and maintain the training schedules in the Amadeus Learning Universe (ALU) for training courses being offered to Central & Western Africa customer.
    Liaise with the planning team and the Learning design team to create the new course offer in ALU with corresponding elements (description, training material…).
  • Help and answer to internal/external customers on any aspect related to Training details.
  • Interface with customers/partners on training plan progress when required.

Innovation & Modernization of Training Delivery

  • Implement new, innovative systems within facilitated learning, to drive adoption of Amadeus products through technical, digital and multi-media strategies which are relevant to each of our Travel Channels customer segments, and our Amadeus colleagues in the Regions.
  • Ensures creative and innovative ways to deliver training content and drive customer engagement i.e., via hands-on experiential learning, video, and social media.
  • Implementing learning modernization trends and techniques within training delivery, in full alignment with the business objectives and priorities of the global learning organization.

Process Management & Quality

  • Maintain quality procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of a collaborative culture, participate to team meetings and/or or team building events.
  • Analyze customer training satisfaction on the logistic area to identify opportunity for improvement and follow-up on action plan.
  • Maintain the team SharePoint online and CWA Teams site.
  • Ensure all training delivered and attendee status are updated on time and properly.

  • Ability to transfer business and/or technical skills and knowledge to customers or Amadeus employee.
  • Ability to deliver virtual and face to face training to customers or Amadeus employee.
  • Ability to deliver advanced presentation and customers training.
  • Ability to use listening/questioning techniques.
  • Ability to design, create, package and maintain materials and resources for use in education and training.

English/French Fluent

  • Speaking: Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
  • Writing: Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects.
